This BMW 2.3-liter S14 inline-four engine reportedly was removed from a 1989 E30 M3 and was rebuilt. Work performed includes honing and resurfacing the block, replacing the crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, and seals, as well as rebuilding a replacement cylinder head with new camshafts, valves, and springs. The engine is accompanied by a number of accessories including a Getrag five-speed manual transmission, a chipped Bosch Motronic ECU, an airbox, throttle bodies, fuel-injection and ignition components, an alternator, fans, a fan shroud, a radiator, engine mounts, a clutch, an engine wiring harness, and miscellaneous brackets and hoses.
