Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 Engine

This 2.3-liter M102 inline-four was designed in collaboration with Cosworth and built for use in a Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16. The engine retails an intake manifold, oil filter housings, radiator fan, exhaust headers, and additional ancillary components.
The 2.3-liter M102.983 inline-four is equipped with a DOHC cylinder head produced by Cosworth and was factory-rated at 167 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque for the US market. The finned aluminum valve cover is finished in black and is accented by Mercedes-Benz and “2.3-16” logotype.
The intake manifold is retained.
Four-into-two headers are attached to the cylinder head.
